A grant from the 'Nescafe Big Break Competition' was awarded to Chris in 2002, which contributed to the construction of Wright Stuff Studios. Solid construction including double-layer walls & doors, double-glazed windows, and soundproofing materials have ensured complete isolation. It features a well sized control room, with a separate live room designed for recording guitars, bass, vocals/voice-overs, brass/woodwind and other instruments.
"The recording studio has been crucial in recording my own material, composing library tracks, and engineering tracks and jingles for clients. I'm also set up to do remote sessions (via the internet) so I'll receive the session files, lay down the guitars and send them back immediately - which is often quicker and more convenient. Having a 'zone' where I can get inspired has been critical in the creative process, and it's been a great place to lose myself in my work."
